Job Description

UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and Big XII Conference member (effective July 1, 2023), is seeking applications for the position of Director of Operations, Men's Soccer.

The selected candidate will assist the head men's soccer coach with the management and direction of the nationally competitive men's soccer program, with emphasis on academic and athletic excellence. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the administrative functions of: budget; purchasing; travel; coordination of recruiting visits; monitoring student-athlete academic progress; compliance; game day management; community service; and alumni / donor relations.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years appropriate experience. Appropriate graduate school coursework or master's degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Preference will be given to applicants with previous collegiate level team operations experience, or at minimum, experience within an athletics organization or university setting. Strong computer software (Microsoft Office), organizational / attention to detail and interpersonal skills also preferred. Due to the nature / scope of athletics and athletics events, position may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
