1. The Department
As part of the Facilities and Estates department we are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and looking after the facilities at Villa Park as well as Bodymoor Heath training ground. The facilities Department plays a major part in supporting the day-to-day business as well as offering support to the playing staff.
2. The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician/ Fire door Engineer (Multiskilled) to join our expanding Facilities team. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all function rooms, Concourse and emergency escape route fire doors are kept to the highest standard including all aspects of passive fire protection as well as planning maintenance. (Planned and Preventative). This will include general day-to-day maintenance, project work and other maintenance duties will be part of the role. The work will be over both sites of Villa Park and BMH.
3. The Person
The ideal candidates will be self-driven, passionate about the quality of their work, professional and skilled in their craft. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on team ethics and high standards. You will be working “hands- on” as part of a strong team to maintain the stadium to a high standard.
Ideally you will need to hold a driving license, be able to work weekends and unsociable hours. You must hold a minimum of a City and Guilds, Level 2 Certification. You will have the motivation and the drive to succeed with the ability to work as part of a team but also able to demonstrate innovation and work solely.
