Job Description Highlights:
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: Competitive salary with bonus opportunities

Role Scope and Requirements:
The TOCA Leagues Manager works directly with the General Manager and owns all areas of the soccer leagues tournaments and rentals businesses; including recruitment, retention, and scheduling. This select individual is responsible for upholding the mission of TOCA Leagues through community, friendly competition, and fun at all levels. Must be available to work week nights and weekends. 

  • Recruiting teams and players by email, text, and call, and contacting former players in database or via social media
  • Attend soccer and other local events
  • Be present during scheduled leagues & tournaments
  • Speak to all players and captains
  • Update and post on social media
  • Resolve on-field & off-field issues
  • Create team, division, tournament, and league schedules
  • Place individuals and small groups on teams
  • Make certain leagues are running timely and properly
  • Make certain referees and GSRs are arrive on time and perform duties
  • Make sure all game results are recorded and entered properly and timely

Knowledge and Experience: 
  • Passion for soccer, sports, and athletes that is contagious
  • Positive attitude, high character, relationship builder and a team player
  • Desire to follow our specific educational and training program
  • Willingness to learn: An individual that is teachable, coachable, moldable, and a continuous learner
  • Strong track record of building strong, trusting relationships
  • Experience in playing or coaching soccer at the club level or higher is preferred
  • College degree is preferred
  • Team leadership skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Communicate effectively the mission, values and vision of our company
  • Knowledge on multiple technological platforms is preferred
  • Ability to use technology to help the company before more efficient and effective
