Hull City are looking to recruit Retail Assistants on a casual basis, to join our team at Tiger Leisure, based at both the MKM Stadium and the Princess Quay store. The successful applicants will be required to have good customer service skills, a positive attitude and be prepared to learn new skills.
Candidates should be flexible with a willingness to work to the stores’ shift patterns, Monday to Sunday. You will predominantly be required to work matchdays which fall on a weekend, mid-week evening and Bank Holidays. Successful applicants may also be required to cover sickness and holidays during the week, when necessary.
Pay: Up to £10.42 per hour (meets National Minimum Wage)
Location: MKM Stadium and any other Hull City Tiger Leisure Stores in the Hull area
Your key responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and advise on any enquiries regarding official Club merchandise.
- Answer telephone enquiries.
- Ensure products, shelves and displays are well presented and restocked when necessary.
- Handle payments (cash and credit card), refunds when necessary and end of day cash reconciliation, ensuring entries are accurate
- Sell matchday tickets as required
- Help to check and accept deliveries of stock.
- Ensure the shop floor and store room areas remain clean and tidy.
- Be aware of shop theft and prevention.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.

- Good comprehension of basic mathematics.
- A willingness to adapt and cover extra shifts when required.
- Previous retail or customer facing role experience (preferred)
- Previous cash handling experience (preferred)
