Job Description

Coventry City Academy is excited to be able to offer the rare opportunity to join the full time coaching team as Youth Development Phase Lead Coach.

Working closely with the Head of Coaching at the football club, the successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Academy syllabus for the Under 13 to Under 16 players, whilst acting as ‘cell lead’ for the Under 15 and Under 16 age groups.

Managing a team of part time coaching staff, the role will also oversee the individual development plans, weekly feedback reports and six weekly reviews for all Academy Youth Development Phase players.

The successful applicant will receive a personal staff development plan to support their own learning, have access to a range of formal CPD opportunities throughout the season and provided with support on their coaching from the club’s Academy Head of Coaching.
