Coordinator, Digital Marketing & Communications
This position will champion the the QUEEN CITY SOCCER CLUB brand, its events, sales promotions, sponsors and merchandise with a keen focus on platforms that create revenue for the Club. This position requires an experienced individual who understands how to motivate a fan base to convert to purchasing tickets and merchandise, supporting our sponsors or tuning into our game broadcasts.
The position requires the following skills and management capabilities;
- Ability to produce advertising graphics for social media applications. The ability to use necessary graphics software to deliver needed marketing and sales elements in a high quality, on-time fashion.
- Content Management: managing a production and execution calendar for social media, email marketing and website updates.
- Ability to plan and execute, on-time, multiple social media channels.
- Ability to plan and execute, on-time, email marketing campaigns.
- Ability to understand the Brand, it’s promise, it’s attributes and how to consistently present the Brand in the creative executions for ticket sales, sponsorship fulfillment, merchandise sales and in-game entertainment.
- Ability to write a variety of applications including advertising copy, p.a. reads, website content, press releases, etc.
- Executing Media Operations responsibilities including producing game notes, game photos, player headshots, stats monitoring, line-ups etc.
- Coordinating & Executing Media Relations including player interviews, coaches’ interviews, press releases, press conferences, etc. Ability to plan press events with great detail and execute those events in a high quality, professional manner. Ability to pitch stories to press members and secure strong turnouts and coverage of our news worthy events and releases.
- Ability to work collaboratively, effectively manage assigned employees, and to take direction and execute accordingly.
Administrative Duties
- Keep an on-going social media content calendar that includes at a minimum the campaigns for ticket sales initiatives, sponsorship obligations, merchandise sales and television broadcasting tune-in.
- Provide social media content calendar for weekly Sales & Marketing Meetings for participants to review and provide input and to keep everyone informed.
- Keep an on-going email content calendar that includes at a minimum the campaigns for ticket sales initiatives, sponsorship obligations, merchandise sales and t.v. broadcasting tune-in.
- Provide email content calendar for weekly Sales & Marketing Meetings for participants to review and provide input and to keep everyone informed.
- Copy or screen shot all sponsorship elements you and your department execute and place electronic copy in the Google Share drive location Sponsorship/Execution Docs/Recaps/Proof of Performance, as they are executed.
- Produce assigned game day materials such as digital line-up card, schedule and any other things as assigned.
- Ensure all areas of responsibility are updated on event Runs Of Show documents as early as possible and at least 2 weeks in advance of the games.
- Manage company website effectively and timely.

Minimum Work Hours Requirement
- Flex hours on non-game, weekdays. May work 7AM-3PM, 8AM-4PM, 9AM-5PM, 9:30AM-5:30PM.
- Game days hours will start as required to execute the event effectively and vary depending on game start times.
- Weekdays following a game on a week night; 11AM-5PM.
- It is expected that employee will schedule other activities around company staff meeting, marketing and sales regularly scheduled meetings and one-on-one meetings with supervisor.
