Major League Soccer’s Brand & Integrated Marketing group leads marketing and promotion for the MLS brand, big events and other enterprise platforms and initiatives while also supporting Club brand-building efforts and growth. Our group is seeking a Senior Manager who will understand and oversee all Club marketing plans and activities and how they impact League efforts, plus distribution and execution of League-led initiatives, with a focus on helping drive fan engagement and Club attachment at the local level. The Senior Manager will be a key point of contact for all Club marketing leaders across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring League strategies are reflective of Clubs and Club efforts are optimized and amplified. We are looking for an individual that is highly curious, motivated, and strategic with a strong ability to guide and problem-solve.



  • Establish day-to-day relationship with Club marketing operators, serving as a trusted resource, managing information flow and ensuring marketing efforts are joined up
  • Be the voice of our Clubs, understanding and representing their unique needs, priorities and opportunities across our teams (internal and external) and full ecosystem
  • Bring a local lens to the development of League marketing plans and promotion of big events, helping create ownable, breakthrough moments in our markets
  • Lead analysis of Club plans, providing summaries and reports of Club activity and performance across marketing platforms and touchpoints (campaigns, activations, social, paid media, etc.)
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and partner to elevate Club brands by championing more impactful execution
  • Support the Apple partnership and connection to Clubs, facilitating communication, managing the implementation of ecosystem initiatives and monitoring MLS Season Pass promotion
  • Build a bank of case studies and standard methodologies that can be shared across Clubs to raise their businesses in different areas of marketing, and continuously look for new ways to collaborate with Clubs more productively
  • Use brand measurement data and analytics as well as external inspiration / cultural influences to inform strategies and identify new opportunities for driving engagement and innovation
  • Support team with other key initiatives and business goals as needed, including but not limited to influencer marketing, player marketing, rituals and traditions, and youth strategy



Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus
  • 7+ years marketing and/or consulting experience. Sports franchise / Club experience a plus

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


Desired Skills

  • Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays


Total Rewards


Starting Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
