This is an exciting time at Newcastle United and we are looking for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Services Manager.

Working as our Housekeeping Services Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Clubs cleaning department.  You will work collaboratively with the Venue Operations team and closely with the Cleaning Manager in relation to day to day supervision of staff which includes organising and planning staff rotas, ensuring effective running of all areas, functions, facilities and efficient management of holidays.

You will oversee training and induction for all new staff in COSHH Method Statement, in line with BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science), including providing machine training and provide staff with technical guidance and ensure they know how to use cleaning equipment safely and correctly.

As part of your role, you will develop and implement effective processes and procedures such as the Cleaning Department Operation plan to deliver the highest cleaning and housekeeping standards, an audit process to ensure regular checks are conducted, and insights are used to continuously improve and make recommendations and a stock control & management process to ensure quality and budget requirements are met.

You will have strong communication and organisational skills and have knowledge and experience in all aspects of industrial cleaning, chemicals, machinery and health and safety.

Significant experience working in a similar role is essential along with GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English grade C or above and a relevant cleaning qualification and training such as NVQ level 2 and C.O.S.H.H or B.I.C.
