Sutton United Football Club Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, responsible, and enthusiastic Foundation Phase age group coach. The role is part time and includes regular evening and weekend commitments.
Job Purpose
The role includes supporting the delivery of the U9-U12 coaching programme. Working closely with the Foundation Phase Lead and other lead phase coaches to ensure departmental performance targets are maintained and achieved.

Main Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to)
§ Plan, record and deliver coaching sessions that follow the club philosophy and deliver the coaching syllabus for your respective age group.
§ To be responsible for your age group on match day, including to plan, observe and provide feedback regarding individual player performance.
§ Communicate professionally with parents, players, and staff on a regular basis.
§ Attend required Foundation Phase match day venues and ensure match day planning is maintained.
§ To submit all Academy phase reviews every 6 or 12 weeks
§ Flexibility to work in this role is essential – evenings and weekend work required.
§ Attend all CPD as instructed by Head of Coaching
§ To complete any other duties as deemed reasonable by the Lead Phase Coach or Head of Coaching
§ Understanding of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) and YD Rules
§ Experience working with young professional players.
§ To ensure the welfare and safeguarding of all players in your care at all times.
Essential Qualifications
§ UEFA B License
§ Enhanced DBS
§ Previous experience working within an Elite Academy
§ Level 2 Emergency First Aid

§ A Licence
§ Advanced Youth Award
