Role specific purpose: |

|
The role is responsible for transcribing English dialogue for a variety of videos across multiple platforms. With your impeccable English writing skills, passion for football and media and sensitivity to viewer experience, you will ensure all deliverables are accurate and adhere to best practice. You will have the ultimate eye-for-detail and enjoy working across multiple projects at one time. |

Role specific accountabilities: |
||
|
1 |
Transcribe dialogue for English close captions and subtitles, fact-checking and verifying key names and phrases ensuring consistency and accuracy. |
|
|
2 |
Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks and make sound judgment calls while working under deadline |
|
|
3 |
Exceptional audio sensitivity – ability to understand a variety of English accents, including regional accents from the UK and abroad. |
|
|
4 |
Liaise with talent and external stakeholders in a friendly and courteous manner in order to build professional relationships and promote a helpful and efficient service representing the Man City Media Department
|
|
|
5 |
Ability to troubleshoot on technical difficulties surrounding closed caption providers.
|
|
|
6 |
Manage workload of assignments, coordinating multiple tasks and reporting back to the Production Team
|
|
|
7 |
Must be proactive in tackling difficult issues and in identifying opportunities for improvement. |
