Saints Foundation is an independent charity aligned to Southampton Football Club. Harnessing the passion of the Club and its fans we aim to inspire, support and deliver positive change and equality of opportunity for young people and adults at risk across Southampton and surrounding areas.
What is the role?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Youth Worker to come on board and join the Saints Foundation. This role will focus on delivering sporting, educational, and diversionary sessions to young people. This role will be supporting Saints Foundation’s PL Kicks programme.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be able to deliver exciting and engaging sessions that run alongside the curriculums and programs provided. We are looking for an organised individual who can keep track of each session and report back to the project lead when needed. Ideally this person needs to have previous experience working with a variety of age groups particularly young children. This person needs to have excellent communication skills; liaising with parents, teachers and players in a professional and polite manner. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a confident personality with the ability to overcome challenges. Finally this role requires a creative individual able to deliver enthusiastic sessions.
