Job Description


D.C. United is seeking a highly motivated partnerships professional with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and consultative approach to take on a manager role on the Partnership Strategy team. Primary responsibilities will be developing partnership research and creative materials, CRM / revenue reporting and positively impacting the larger Corporate Partnerships department.


  • Management of workflow and execution of partnership research requests (consumer insights, fan profiles, etc.).
  • Management of workflow and execution of creative requests from New Business & Brand Engagement teams.
  • Work with 3rd party resources (such as Nielsen and Zoomph) to regularly analyze social media and broadcast performance as well as produce reporting for mid-year and end-of-season recaps.
  • Produce insights to support revenue generation via assessment of underperforming categories, new and emerging categories, target prospects, etc.
  • Collaborate with other D.C. United departments including but not limited to Ticket Sales, Events, Operations, Community Relations and Digital to support departmental programs.
  • Support Corporate Partnerships department with ideation and brainstorming for partnership activation concepts.
  • Work directly with Business Strategy team and CRM platform to develop reporting across Corporate Partnerships department that tracks departmental revenue, inventory management, billing schedule, rate card and team member activity.
  • Work to support Partnership Strategy team on specific partner relationships that provide data insights into D.C. United fanbase and match-day experience (payment processing, credit card, etc).
  • Support larger Corporate Partnership team at matches, partner functions, business meetings, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional sports activation and/or agency experience.
  • You must provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination prior to start date.  


  • Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative.
  • Graphic Design Skills a must, Photoshop proficiency preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills and customer service-oriented demeanor.
  • Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships within a multitude of business environments.
  • Ability to think creatively as it pertains to developing marketing and activation campaigns.
  • Well organized with consistent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
