JOB SUMMARY
The Loudoun United FC & Segra Field team is looking for an enthusiastic and detailed individual to join our Events & Operations team for Loudoun United FC (USL) and Segra Field Events.
The Manager, Event Operations & Activation will work closely with all vendors for all stadium events and be an on-site staff member for events. The role will have a presence for Loudoun United FC games & other Special Events at Segra Field. This position is based in Leesburg, VA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage relationships with vendors and schedule vendors for Loudoun United FC, Old Glory DC, and all other special events
Be an on-site lead for security for fan feedback and actively facilitate stadium issues to the correct area
Prepare, oversee, and educate emergency preparedness and protocols in the stadium
Act as first or second Manager on Duty / Stadium Supervisor during Loudoun United and Old Glory DC matchdays
Lead relationship with County officials on matchday needs, parking, and other items
Work directly with team operations regarding matchday needs, timing of practices, parking, etc.
Responsible for ordering & facilitating Segra Field Credentials, team care items, and general event/stadium items
Ensure first aid, AEDs, and fire extinguishers are up to date/accessible
Work with the Manager, Special Events on activating all special events at Segra Field
Assist with activating Segra Field Special Events prior to and on event day, which includes activating all event-related details and ensuring the execution of the event (walk-throughs, summary, set-up, load-out, etc.)
Assist with written proposals and estimates, contractual arrangements, and booking arrangements
Qualifications
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required
Experience in event and operations in a stadium or facility setting preferred
Previous sports experience is desired
Ability to maintain great client/customer relations and work in a team setting
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate both orally and written with staff, guests, and clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions quickly
Excellent time management, organization and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
