COMPANY BACKGROUND
Loudoun United FC, the USL Championship affiliate of D.C. United, is a professional soccer team in Loudoun County. Loudoun United is in Leesburg, VA, and plays at Segra Field – a 5,000 seat stadium built in 2019. Segra Field also is home to the Major League Rugby team Old Glory DC, and hosts matches for the National Women's Soccer League team, the Washington Spirit.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Box Office Associate is responsible for facilitating ticket sales for all events at Segra Field, as well as solving any and all ticket issues by utilizing Ticketmaster software. This is a part-time hourly position.
Essential Duties
- Facilitate ticket sales for all events at Segra Field.
- Interact with the public and provide courteous, friendly, and professional assistance.
- Utilize Ticketmaster software to: troubleshoot: any and all ticket issues, reissue tickets, research scan history of a ticket, and to sell a new ticket.
- Assist in setup and breakdown of the box office.
Qualifications
- Must present identification upon hiring that you are vaccinated against COVID-19
- Segra Field is a cashless and paperless facility: must have an understanding of (or have the ability to learn) basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of ticketing in a sports / entertainment venue environment and experience with a ticketing system is preferred.
- Must have excellent and professional customer service and communication skills.
- Show a strong ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from events.
Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Some work is conducted outside in all weather conditions, including cold, rain, and heat.
- Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends.
Physical Requirement
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.
