POSITION SUMMARY:
Houston Dynamo FC is seeking candidates for Full Time Maintenance/HVAC Technician. This position will act as a maintenance technician with a specialty in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC Systems around the facility.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs preventative maintenance on the Stadiums Package Roof top, Mitsubitshi mini splits, Trane DX split systems, HVAC units. This includes checking equipment operation, cleaning, lubrication, adjusting, and repairing HVAC equipment and controls, etc.
- Preforms preventative maintenance, and repairs to exhaust systems.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the HVAC units and repair or install any parts needed to keep units functioning.
- Read and Understand the Facility’s HVAC automated system, ensuring that all units are functioning at its proper capacity. Utilize the HVAC Automated system to create unit schedules.
- Read and Understand the Facility’s work order and preventative maintenance system to keep on schedule and respond to issues around the facility.
- Have base knowledge of other maintenance skills to assist coworkers if needed. This includes Assemble, install, maintain, and repair all wood fixtures, walls, floors, ceiling, doors, locks, hardware, keys, trim using hand and power tools.
- Assist with show conversions and event set up.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC Systems
- Must possess a Universal EPA Certification
- Must possess and maintain a registered AC&R Technician License. (TDLR)
- Work odd hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Lift 50 lbs or more
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to obtain heavy equipment certifications (Forklift, Scissor Lift, etc.)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
