Job Description

Stoke City Community Trust is looking to recruit a number of apprentices to support the life changing work that we do within our local communities.

We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic people who are committed to making a difference to the lives of young people. This would include working with schools, youth organisations and many of the local priority populations.

Typical projects you could be involved with include:

  • School sport programmes including Premier League Primary Stars.
  • Outreach and Youth Engagement projects including Premier League Kicks.
  • Football development programmes.
  • Disability and Inclusion programmes.
  • Health and Wellbeing programmes.
  • Education and Lifelong learning.
  • Matchday activities.
  • Sports related administration.

You will be representing a professional football club which aims to make a positive difference to the lives of children, young people and adults in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and South Cheshire area.

About You

We want to hear from you if you are:

  • Interested in sport, exercise or youth/social work.
  • Pro-active, self starting.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Well organised.

Although not essential, the following would be advantageous:

  • BTEC/GCSE PE/Health and Social Care.
  • Volunteering experience.
  • Duke of Edinburgh award.
  • Sports Leader.
