Job Description

Leicester City FC are seeking a professional, compassionate and organised administrator to support the Club’s medical department with their administrative needs.

About The Role

Due to a period of family leave, Leicester City FC are seeking a professional, compassionate and organised administrator to support the Club’s medical department with their administrative needs. The role is on a fixed term, part-time basis, working 30 hours over 4 days per week.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have significant administrative experience within a medical / clinical environment and be comfortable in performing key duties including:

- Liaising with general practitioners, physiotherapists, and other medical employees to ensure they have necessary support

- Overseeing daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling

- Keeping up to date with industry requirements and advising the team of changes

- Ensuring efficient and effective internal and external communication, acting as the main point of contact for the medical team

The role is varied and requires collaboration and communication with both internal and external stakeholders, meaning the successful candidate will need to personable and confident in terms of their ability to communicate clearly and build relationships. A high degree of personal integrity is essential alongside an understanding that the postholder must be able to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality and discretion at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task and prioritise work confidently.

- Passion to deliver world-class healthcare.

- A high level administration qualification or equivalent.

- 3+ years’ experience in a practice/medical office.

- Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
