An opportunity has arisen at Blackpool Football Club’s Academy to offer host accommodation for our young footballers for the 2023 - 2024 season.
We are particularly looking for families based close to our Bloomfield Road Stadium or areas slightly further away with excellent transport links; who feel they are able to provide a stable and positive environment for 16 to 21-year-olds, who are moving away from home for the first time.
Suitable hosts will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check in line with current regulations, as well as satisfactory references and appropriate training.
Potential accommodation providers would also be subject to suitability checks and regular visits from the Club Player Care Officer.
The players will require their own room, although a room share would be considered if more than one player can be housed, and must be provided with breakfast and an evening meal which meets the nutritional demands of a professional athlete. Full training and guidance will be given with regards to these demands.
