What We’re Looking For:
A candidate who has the relevant skills in food preparation, to cook accordingly with exceptional attention to detail. All dishes are to be maintained to a high quality standard, ensuring ensure guests enjoy a pleasant meal whether they are just visiting the restaurant or staying with us in the hotel. Management and training of commi chef’s and/or apprentice will be part of your responsibility, whilst assisting other kitchen staff in keeping to health and safety standards, as well as adhering to food hygiene standards at all time.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:
• NVQ Level 2 in Food and Preparation diploma or equivalent.
• Food Safety Level 2.
• Confirmed knowledge of COSHH.
• Experience working within a fast paced kitchen environment/bar operations/F&B department?
• Must be able to delegate tasks.
Nice to Have:
• A background in the Hotel industry.
• Previous experience in managing members of a team.
