RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular communication & liaison with internal & external stakeholders.
- Triage & valid customer facing defects, escalating to the relevant stakeholders accordingly.
- Proactively report back to the QA Team Leads on both project deliverables and process effectiveness.
- Take responsibility for all changes being tested efficiently and effectively during the release cycle.
- Ensure that the design and documentation of test cases for core business applications meets the acceptance criteria of business user stories. Ensure inclusion of testing for both positive and negative scenarios.
- Identify and document any issues found in the applications under test to investigate and resolve application problems and process issues where required.
- Ensure that all appropriate testing types are executed when required per release cycle (e.g. Acceptance, Functional, Regression, Non-Functional, Integration and Data).
- Participate in the writing and running of test cases across all applications under test.
- Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet DAZN’s changing priorities.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Around 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Upper-Intermediate English – B2 level both written and verbal communication skills
- Passionately curious with a pragmatic solution finding mentality with the ability to prioritise multiple day-to-day tasks.
- Proactive, always looking to challenge the status quo and operate outside of your comfort zone with the ability to cope with frequent changing priorities.
- Expert problem-solving skills, a fast learner with a proactive attitude and a bias for learning.
- Analytical thinking skills with a keen eye for quality,
- Proficient in designing tests for functional & non-functional requirements across a range of environments, regions features and devices.
- Experience working on live applications with a continuous feature & content release cycle.
- Practical knowledge of Jira, TestRail, and Confluence
- Experience with Charles Proxy, Postman, Fiddler and other supporting QA Tools.
GOOD TO HAVE:
- A passion for sports and the way they are consumed by customers.
- Multiple years of experience working with, Mobile, TV platforms, set-top boxes and/or games consoles in an agile environment.
- Experience working in a broadcast, media streaming or similar environment and familiarity with streaming protocols across web, mobile and living room devices.
- Experience using, Tizen Studio, ADB and or other SDKs.
- Ability to mentor and support other QAs with their day-to-day work.
