We’re a hybrid team, centred around our Leeds office, where we can collaborate, socialise and meet other people! We have an exciting Engineering Manager opportunity within DOTS (DAZN Operating Tools and Systems) here at DAZN.

You will be a key member of our leadership team. The DOTS play a vital role within the business. We build DAZN's editorial tools, media metadata services and rights management platforms. As Engineering Manager you'll report to the DOTS VP of Engineering and will directly manage, coach and mentor a few engineering teams (between 2 & 4). These engineering teams are autonomous & cross-functional. Made up of between 5 and 7 engineers.
As Engineering Manager, you are accountable for the DOTS delivery and ensuring we are providing value for the business, by working on the right things and operating efficiently. You'll achieve this by helping our leaders shape their roadmap, contributing technical experience and providing the right environment. You'll be responsible for shaping our teams, with one focus, to enable DAZN to create and ship great services and platforms.
At DAZN, teams have a lot of autonomy so it's vital that knowledge is shared across teams. Our leaders are key to this. You'll build great relationships with the wider community around the business and bring people together.

AS OUR NEW ENGINEERING MANAGER YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Create a learning environment for your team, act as a mentor for engineers and nurture up and coming leaders
- Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to deliver world-class solutions
- Balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritisation and a pragmatic approach

- Experience of release level planning
- Former experience as an Engineer
