WHAT'S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

You are pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, business administration or a related field and have a passion for communications?
 
Within our team of communication professionals, you will be learning how to get operative tasks on track within the DACH market. The goal is to get you in charge of key PR-Tools such as the press distribution list, media center, coverage reporting or our press newsletter. You’ll support us in the handling of journalists by processing enquiries and requests. You will also support us in the research for and preparation of interviews, background talks and speaking opportunities. 
 
As a Communications Intern you will also be coordinating and executing consistent display of DAZN content in online and print TV guide magazines. You will support us in engaging with editorial departments of TV guide magazines to discover highlights and interview opportunities. You will design, plan, and execute our newsletter for journalists (~ 2x a week) to promote live and non-live contents.
 
This role will be based in Munich and it is a 6 months internship.  

AS OUR NEW COMMUNICATIONS INTERN M/F/D, YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Support the planning, creation, and execution of communication measures (e.g., press releases, interviews, speaking opportunities) 
  • Assistance in day-to-day business and support of routine tasks such as media production or newsletter 
  • Handling media inquiries including coordination of relevant internal stakeholders 
  • Tracking, evaluating, and reporting of press coverage about DAZN in the DACH region 
  • Maintaining relationships towards program media and deal with internal & external sources 
  • Taking care of our journalist newsletter, including all aspects from identifying topics to creation and execution

YOU’LL BE SET UP FOR SUCCESS IF YOU HAVE:

  • You are studying journalism, communication, business administration or a related subject in at least your third semester 
  • Ideally, you have first experience in communications work either in a company or as a journalist 
  • You can demonstrate your creativity, your excellent communication skills and your very good knowledge of MS Office by writing texts in a consistent and creative way 
  • You don't just want to do editorial work, you are also a sports enthusiast and want to combine the two things 
  • You value teamwork, but are also able to plan and work independently 
  • With your excellent knowledge of German and English, you are not afraid to talk to journalists on the phone or to prepare calls and documents for an English speaking audience
