With the rise in brand investment via new(er) technologies and continued migration of TV ad spend from linear to digital/CTV. The next few years are critical to cement DAZN as the destination for advertisers to reach, engage & connect with sports fans. It’s time to push new boundaries, jump on the OTT/CTV train and allow advertisers to target, deliver,measure, trade, report, bill in the most efficient and transparent way possible.
In this newly created role as Vice President of Programmatic& Advanced Advertising, you will provide strategic leadership and decision making to expand our sales waterfall beyond direct IO and PG connections.You
will help build the credibility of DAZN as a leading platform for digital investment amongst media agencies, tech providers, DSP’s & SSP’s fostering strong relationships to drive up STR’s and yield across DAZN video inventory.
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic growth of programmatic revenues in all DAZN markets, operating from our central London sales hub. The successful candidate will work in partnership with both the central & local market VP of Sales, SVP of Ad Operations and VP of Ad Strategy to build new relationships delivering incremental revenue without cannibalising our direct sales revenue or partnerships.
If you have an extensive knowledge of the end-to-end advertising buy and sell side ecosystem and a strong network of industry contacts which can drive an immediate impact, then this could be the role for you. AS OUR NEW VP PROGRAMMATIC AND ADVANCED ADVERTISING YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Programmatic Strategy:work with key internal stakeholders to deliver playbook for programmatic and addressable advertising success
- Revenue generation: Identify sales opportunities and partners to drive revenue against team target
- Insight & Trends: Leverage industry knowledge,metrics and intel to make sure DAZN stays at forefront of addressable ad sales trends
- Market Engagement: Work closely with other market teams toidentify and execute best “go to market approach”
- Team collaboration: Work collaboratively with Sales, Strategy, Operations & Project Management personnel within the Adverting team to successfully drive-up fill rates across all inventory
YOU’LL BE SET UP FOR SUCCESS IF YOU HAVE:
- Extensive experience working within the advertising media landscape,with extensive knowledge of the programmatic video marketplace
- Strong relationships within media agencies & relevant yield management & tech partners
- Understanding of the broader media industry & the needs/objectives of brands & advertisers
- Analytical and commercially minded, with a clear view on how to maximise yield from unsold inventory
- Good understanding of digital marketing & consumption platforms
- An innovate approach and the ability to concisely articulate ideas to peers and senior leadership
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:
- Clear and demonstrable experience in selling live digital video advertising across big publishing brands, broadcasters or social
- Broadcast advertising sales experience or OTT advertising sales experience
- Strong knowledge of advertising delivery systems
