The Chattanooga Red Wolves are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join the team! This individual will be responsible for written and visual content on various social media platforms, newsletters, game day programs, and media relations. We are searching for the right person who is passionate about soccer and preferably experienced with working within the sport. We are looking for someone take the initiative and help build awareness and produce quality content that will engage our fans.
Produce and create all written content in the form of articles, newsletters, team announcements, etc.
Create written content to enhance our social media presence and promote awareness and team news
Create and produce club content, including videos, photos and graphics
Coordinate with graphic designers to develop engaging graphics
Maintain brand and league standards and guidelines
Video editing to create captivating highlight reels
Coordinate and maintain relationships with 3rd party contractors (e.g. travel photographers)
Responsible for taking videos and photos at training camps, practices, etc. to produce engaging content for social media and other outlets
Provide players with individual photos for them to share on their personal platforms
Weekly content creation
Soliciting user generated content
Adhere to all league requirements for game day postings
Respond to messages and inquiries
Ensure promotional agreements with sponsors are being met
Create, schedule and execute content for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Responsible for securing media appearances and placements for various mediums
Scheduling player interviews
Update and maintain internal media lists
Handling all media credential requests
Working with opponents’ public relations representatives prior to prepare necessary credentials, etc.
Update and send required game notes to the league, press and opposing teams
Preparation for all credentials for game day
Assist with will call and press box duties
Capture and share all game day content (e.g. fan photos, warm up, live action video, celebrations, etc.)
Create and distribute press information (e.g. lineups, rosters, game notes, stats)
Coordinate post game interviews between press and players/coaches
Create and distribute post game media package (e.g. final stats, photos, videos, quote sheet, recap, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as, marketing or journalism
1-3 years marketing, social media or journalism experience
Experience utilizing social media as a tool for marketing products/services
Understanding of marketing tactics and social media
Former soccer players encouraged to apply
Understanding of soccer rules, fan base, structure, etc.
Personal passion and insights into the game of soccer
Detail oriented and results driven
