Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for Academy Safety Stewards to support its training and matchday operations at our Training Ground facility at Clayton Wood in Trent Vale and our Academy Dome.
As an Academy Safety Steward for the Club, you will play a key role in matchday safety and liaising with parents, staff, guests, players, and scouts. You will develop operational knowledge of key areas of the Training facility and Academy Dome, through a comprehensive induction process, whilst developing the necessary skills to ensure you are able to provide our guests with the necessary information to enhance their overall experience within a safe environment.
As an ambassador for the Academy, you will provide excellent customer service, whilst ensuring safety and security standards are always maintained. We require our Academy Safety Stewards to take their duties seriously, and as such, whilst engaging with the public you will do your upmost to ensure all attendees enjoy their visit. You will be flexible, and through our training programme will be able to perform a variety of different roles in different settings and venues.

Ideal candidates will be fit, active and have the character and temperament to carry out the duties of an Academy Safety Steward. You must be of smart appearance and will be able to work independently, showing initiative and taking responsibility.
The successful applicants will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover Academy matchday fixtures and Training sessions.
Positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. All relevant training will be provided including working towards NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.
Stoke City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
