Job Description

Austin FC joined Major League Soccer in January 2019 as the league’s 27th member club and will officially begin play in MLS in 2021 in a new, state-of-the-art 20,500-seat soccer stadium and public park scheduled to open during Austin FC’s inaugural season. 
 
Austin FC is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Premium Sales Executive to assist in the development and implementation of selling Suite and Premium Seating products at the new stadium. 

In this role, you will be responsible for generating Premium revenue by informing and devising the sales process for a wide range of premium products including single match Suites, Loges, and Lofts among other premium hospitality products; developing and executing hospitality events as well as other related programs; contributing to key marketing campaigns; and building and maintaining relationships with high-end clientele and C-Suite Executives. 

The Premium Sales Executive will develop and execute effective sales strategies to bring a full menu of hospitality products and programs to leading members of the Austin community to achieve both their objectives as well as Austin FC’s objectives for awareness, engagement, and revenue.

You Will:
  • Prospect and develop new sales leads through innovative lead generation techniques to ultimately execute face to face or virtual sales meetings and negotiate (and successfully close) new business; and
  • Participate in the development of Premium Sales Plans to maximize the experience for those investing in the Club; and
  • Inform and devise the sales process for a wide range of premium products including multi-year leases of Suites, Field Seats, Loges and Club Seats among others; and 
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop new sales packages and pricing that encompass the full Premium inventory; and
  • Inform and devise the sales process for a wide range of single match premium products including single match suites, party suites, loges, and lofts among others; and
  • Provide superior service for all Premium Season Ticket Member and Single Match Hospitality accounts.
 
You Have:
  • A passion for and an impressive track record in premium level sales, particularly to C-suite and high-end clientele.
  • Experience in a competitive environment selling to C-Suite Executives with demonstrated ability to identify and resourcefully meet their diverse needs.
  • Exceptional record of developing and implementing sales strategies that consistently meet or exceed goals and strategic objectives.
  • High proficiency in relationship building, relationship management, networking, and negotiating skills.
  • Evidence of being a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement processes and plans.
  • Solid understanding of the local Austin Market.
  • A successful leadership background with high ethical standards.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media with diverse audiences.
  • English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Additional languages – even better.
  • An outstanding work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CRM systems. Proficiency in SalesForce/Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Prior sports and entertainment industry experience a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
