Liverpool FC Foundation is offering an exciting opportunity to work in the football department and oversee the day-to-day operations of LFC Foundation football programmes.
What will you be doing?
There will be a large element of football delivery and educational workshops alongside promoting the programmes in the local community. The role involves working across evening and weekend delivery and leading on camps, tournaments and events.
The main responsibilities are:
-Deliver the football programmes in line with the business plan ensuring all KPI`s are met
-Ensure quality and safeguarding standards are achieved and maintained
-Work closely with local and regional partner organisations
-Engage with hard-to-reach groups
-Help increase engagement into the programmes for people with disabilities and girls across all Foundation activities
-To encourage and mentor participants to become volunteers
-Create pathways into other relevant foundation programmes
-Deliver social action sessions and workshops
-Ensure effective collection of data and statistics on relevant foundation databases
-Provide an inclusive environment following our Red Together strategy
-Line management responsibility for the delivery team including performance management and administration tasks
Who we are looking for:
To be successful you will have experience in coaching, planning and delivering football and sports sessions. You must have a recognised coaching qualification in football at a minimum of FA level 2 and a basic level of project management experience to organise tournaments and events.
We`re committed to safeguarding young people, so you must also have a level 1 (or higher) qualification in safeguarding young people, and a strong understanding of good safeguarding practices. Similarly, we also aim to be the most inclusive football club, so you must be able to demonstrate understanding of inclusive practices.
It`s desirable for you to have experience of talent identification, developing talent pathways for young people with knowledge of grassroots football and be able to engage and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.

This is a full-time one-year contract role working 35 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days with some evening and weekend work required. This role is based in the Anfield Sports and Community Centre in Liverpool; however, the post holder will be required to work from other locations across Merseyside
