Summary of your role:

Are you inspired to help support 18-to-65-year-old individuals to continue on their weight loss journey?

You will have the responsibility to coach and deliver a 60-minute weight loss maintenance exercise class for adults 18-65 years of age.

Your roles and responsibilities, but not limited to:

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering a safe and effective warm up and cool down (5-10 minutes) which considers the type of people in the group and their potential medical contraindications.
  • Delivering a fun, safe and effective exercise session.
  • Creating group cohesion and sense of community.

You must have:

  • Minimum Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification.
  • Understanding of the Trust commitment to EDI & Safeguarding.
  • Experience working with adults in a fitness, sport or lifestyle context.
  • Be able to motivate and facilitate physical activity in adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to travel to and around Harrow.

You ideally would have:

  • Level 2 Gym Instructor Award.
  • Group Exercise Qualification and/or experience delivering group exercise.
  • First Aid Qualification (in date).
  • Safeguarding Qualification (in date).
  • Be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of nutrition for weight loss.
  • Have a full and valid UK driving license & car access.
