The FAW has committed to prioritise the needs of grassroots football and to invest significant capital funding into inspirational and fit for purpose grassroots facilities - a target of £50m has been set for the next 5 years.
To administer this funding by way of capital grants, a specialist facilities investment and advice services will be established by the FAW Trust that will include an efficient and highly skilled team of staff who will provide the facilities expertise needed and robust grants management ensuring the funding effectively reaches grassroots facilities.

The organisation aims to be a successful and well-respected distributor of grants ensuring efficient, effective investment in sustainable, equitable, fit for purpose facilities alongside the provision of facilities advice and support.
The Grants Manager will be responsible for managing grant programmes, application processes, panels, contractual agreements and post offer processes and payments as well as providing technical advice. Programmes will range from small grants, capital-related revenue funding, ground and stadia improvements, to larger capital projects and some major schemes.
