To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS). Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

We are currently looking to recruit our Logistics Coordinator AUS

Job responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the administrative and management requirements of the Logistics functional area, providing support to the delivery of the overall Logistics operation for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™. The position will assist across all Logistics workstreams and have interactions with internal and external service providers during the planning and delivery phases.
 
Core responsibilities include:
  • Project Administration

  • Coordinating work assignments and tracking project deliverables across the following key areas:

    • Customs and Freight Forwarding
    • Venue Logistics
    • Warehousing
    • Material Planning

 
Job duties
  • Coordinate and assist the Logistics Manager for the simplified Customs & freight forwarding guides and publication
  • Project Planning & Asset coordination for Central warehousing, including tracking not only within the warehouse but across all venues where assets are staged, used, provisioned for use
  • Material coordination, including the deployment & asset control of FFE for FWWC2023 functional areas and delivery/collection and report ownership
  • Assistance in the coordination for Movements of PMA luggage and equipment to / from hotels, airports, stadiums and training site during the tournament period
  • Assist with asset dissolution plan, implementation and design where required
  • Support the Logistics team requirement for the successful planning and delivery of all Logistics operations.
  • Support the administration to draft and implement specific operational policies and procedures regarding Logistics operations, including escalation protocols
  • Support the effective planning and delivery of the stadiums' logistics areas operations by working closely with Venue Logistics and other key functional areas
  • Monitor and assist towards the Logistics project plan, assisting with identifying risks, gaps and opportunities and proactively communicate to the wider team the project status
  • Maintain daily/weekly logistics situational reporting and any other duties that may be required
