Football Writer

The Role...

Our in-house football team is responsible for the planning and execution of Sporting Life's football editorial and content across website, social, multimedia and A/V platforms.

Through our mantra of delivering winning insight to our users we provide the best football betting tips and analysis, cutting through the noise and bias by using the facts, stats and angles that paint the true picture.

As a football writer you are responsible for producing strong football editorial to build our reputation for insightful, informed, trusted, football analysis and tipping content.

Writing for the Sporting Life website and app remains the main priority, but the role also has a strong focus on video and podcast production/contribution and delivering social content ideas to help build awareness of and drive users to our onsite football content to appeal to younger, diverse, changing audience demands and behaviours.

What You'll be Doing... 

• Delivering football previews, tipping insight, match reports, live blogs, features, interviews onsite
• Strong broadcast skills for Sporting Life's podcast and video content
• Work with social media and multimedia team in both creating and delivering creative, innovate social and A/V content
• Attending, producing, presenting, reporting, interviewing on location, press conference, football matches/tournaments where appropriate
