To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS). Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

We are currently looking to recruit our Senior Service Delivery Manager

Job responsibilities
As Senior Service Delivery Manager, under the guidance of the Head of Technology and in consultation with FIFA Technology (based in Zurich), you will be responsible for the Service Delivery management, Corporate and Tournament technology support operations, and Technology Equipment Allocation Process (TEAP) for the Technology Functional Area delivery of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™.
 
You will have the Operational leadership of the Delivery team, made up of Technology Specialists with the fields of Service Delivery Management and, Radio and Spectrum Management, as well as the administration co-ordination team. Staff will be based in both Australia and New Zealand, with deliverables across both countries. This role has responsibility for the delivery of all scope areas within budget and timescales, to ensure an efficient and high-quality delivery of services to all relevant target groups.
 

Job duties
Your role as Senior Service Delivery Manager includes the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure that Technology Specialists within the areas of spectrum, radio and mobile services, and Service Delivery Management deliver all aspects required at the event according to FWWC2023 requirements
  • Manage the outsourced service delivery contract to ensure best value for money and high-quality deliverables throughout the build up to, and at tournament time
  • Establish and implement a fit for purpose integrated support model (including FIFA, technology partners, service providers, government entities etc.) across all phases of the project
  • Management / implementation of IT Service management processes and procedures – including the management of the ITSM tool
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs) in accordance with the FIFA Technology Handbook across all services   Ensure all aspects of the delivery scope areas are implemented at venues and offices according to FWWC requirements
  • Be the lead senior manager for project management and governance matters, owning the relationship with the FWWC Project Management Office and Procurement Team
  • Recruitment of direct reports in the next phase of hiring, who will in turn be responsible to deliver their key area of scope
  • Lead on the definition of the Asset tracking and management of deployed equipment in all sites
  • Lead the design and implementation of the TEAP solution and approach, ensuring team members implement a fit for purpose solution
  • Lead the scope definition, procurement liaison, supplier selection and onboarding of relevant scope area suppliers in consultation with the Head of Technology and fellow Senior Managers
  • Ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed to scope, within budget and on schedule
  • Continuously review and make recommendations to improve technology across the tournament. Collaborate with other Senior Managers and the Head of Technology to integrate Technology Project Plans, ensuring requirements of all relevant stakeholders are aligned for each event or competition
  • Regular travel throughout Australia and New Zealand to the Host Cities
  • Lead the development of the Technology readiness program, including test events and exercises, policies and procedures, training of the team and redeployment to the tournament time positions
  • Be a key member of the Technology Senior team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and FIFA Zurich as defined by the operational organizational structure
