Steven Gerrard Academy have a number of sport scientist placement opportunities available.
The successful applicant will work closely with all teams at the academy, reporting to Andy Marshall (Sport Science Lead). You will learn and develop within a fast pace, applied environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Help plan and deliver football sessions to academy teams
- Help complete ILP’s and reviews with players
- Review and assess player performance through video and data
- Collaborate with coaches and other staff
- Produce supportive material to be used by coaches, players and other staff
- To utilise effective time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Maintain statistical databases and dashboards efficiently to ensure data is ready and available
- Support and work with coaches at the college in adapting a multi-disciplinary approach
- Liase and communicate with coaches in preparation for football sessions
- Monitor, use and store equipment and software appropriately
