POSITION SUMMARY:
Houston Dynamo FC is seeking candidates for a Player Care Coordinator. This individual will help coordinate and manage all First Team player and staff relocations, develop relationships with player, staff, and their families, and ensure a smooth transition into Houston and while in market.
 
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act on behalf of the club as the main point of contact for all players for any off-field matters including but not limited to questions about transportation, housing, non-soccer activities, personal matters, etc.
  • Manage relocations and logistics for First Team players and staff into Houston, while in market, and during team travel.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and resource for families and partners of players and staff on all relocation and transition matters.
  • Ensure all MLS requirements and protocols are followed for games, training sessions, and daily proceedings.
  • Enter and monitor player HR information and take certain action dependent upon that information.
  • Develop and implement a plan of social events for First Team players, staff, and families.
  • Work closely with Front Office to ensure sponsorship opportunities are being utilized for First Team players, staff, and families.
  • Be available to assist families while the team is traveling.
  • Provide operational support for team training and gameday experience.
  • Ensure player and first team staff families have a smooth gameday experience and manage family room.
  • Develop a gifting program for First Team players, staff, and families.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of an accredited university (preferred).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
  • Degree in Sports Management/Business, Hospitality, Education, or Languages (preferred).
  • Professional soccer playing career experience (preferred).
  • Travel required, including non-traditional work hours.
