Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees all facility systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire/Life Safety for lower.com Field, Ohio Health Performance Center, and Historic Crew Stadium.
- Schedules and supervises the daily activities of the trade’s staff.
- Responsible for oversite of facility work orders and completion in the appropriate timeframe.
- Creates and implements a proper Preventative Maintenance Plan.
- Implements all Federal, State and Local Safety Regulations (i.e., ADA Compliance, OSHA Standards)
- Conduct daily and/or weekly staff meetings with key personnel to discuss current or upcoming projects.
- Assists with the monitoring of vendors and outside contractors as appropriate.
- Review operation of Purchasing Inventory systems and ensure proper quantities and types of maintenance and show supplies are on hand.
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure Operations Department is ordering proper supplies for maintenance and show requirements in a timely manner.
- Research and recommend equipment, tools, materials, and supplies to fulfill needs of Operations Department.
- Quarterly and Annual budget forecasting will include labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and utility consumption and recommend policies and procedures to promote efficiency.
- Assist in the creation of annual operations budgets and make recommendations on capital improvement projects.
- Directs and trains maintenance personnel in the safe and effective operation of equipment and building systems.
- Research and recommend continuing education programs for key technical personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of the building.
- Maintain positive working relationships with service contractors, suppliers, utility companies and firms doing business with the Stadium and Training Facilities
- Coordinates annual capital projects as assigned for the facilities
- Responds to emergency situations in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records regarding annual inspections of equipment and MEP systems.
- Responsible for reporting of accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage and fidelity claims.
Qualification Requirements:
- Experience should include a well-rounded background and vast knowledge of heating, boilers, air-conditioning, electrical and plumbing systems, including equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Has a solid understanding of Federal, State and Local building code requirements
- Have a working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent personal organization skills and exceptional planning skills to avoid reactional situation(s).
- Flexibility to respond to urgent client requests on evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Excellent relational skills and experience dealing with union environment.
