The Event Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of all events at Dignity Health Sports Park. Events to include sporting events, film shoots and private events. The incumbent will act as the main liaison between the Event Promoter and all facility departments to ensure successful events.
Work with Event Promoters for the planning and execution of all Dignity Health Sports Park events.
Work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to effectively communicate all event related needs. Internal departments to include: Operations, Parking, Security, Guest Services, Box Office, Engineering and Turf & Grounds to ensure that the organization is prepared to facilitate successful events.
Work closely with Finance to develop and manage budgets for events.
Responsible for the frontline coordination of assigned events (Concerts, team events, Sports events, etc.)
Communicate and conduct professional meetings that drive the goals and objectives of assigned events.
A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Marketing, Communication, Management, or Related Field
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related work experience; large event management experience preferred
Must be able to operate under extreme deadlines and within budget.
Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Enterprising self-starter with the ability to work with minimal to no supervision
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Exceptional guest and client service capabilities
Must be a resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and ability to learn required business systems
