Barnes FC is coming back! Be part of long-term ambitious plan and be ready to step in to put 6th oldest club in England where it belongs. The club will have a number of different youth age groups and will compete in Surrey Youth League. Trainings will be on Sunday mornings at Barn Elms Sport Centre.
The youth coach's responsibilities include:
Essential qualifications, skills, and abilities
· FA Coaching qualification Level 1 minimum, with prior youth coaching experience
- Ideally SW London based
· First Aid & Safeguarding Certifications
· DBS Certification
- UK resident
· Effective communication skills
· Leadership qualities
· Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about football coaching
This is volunteer role. The club will provide coaching kits, equipment and benefits such as deals / vouchers from sponsors.
Barnes Football Club was founded in 1862 (6th oldest club in England) and had great importance in the development of football in 19th century. It is a founder member of the FA and the club took part in first ever FA Cup in 1871-72 with 15 consecutive editions of the competition.
Currently, management is re-establishing the club and will play under Surrey County FA at Barn Elms. The club is run by a volunteer management committee.
