Pure Football Academy was established in 2009 to develop and push youth players to their full potential. We work with players of all abilities and are a community-based club.
Since then, we have been able to progress players through our pathways onto semi-professional and pro clubs.
Going forward, we are looking to expand the age range for the kids we coach and for this project we are looking for several football coaches that can coach our age groups with the correct experience and ability. Football coaches will be required to manage our open football sessions which will take place on Saturday Mornings starting in November 2021. Age Range will be between (3 -16 years old) we are also looking for enthusiastic coaches to assist with coaching existing youth squads (Under 10’s, Under 12’s, Under 14’s and Under 16’s) that play in the Saturday Youth League. This will involve training on Wednesday’s and matches on Saturday. If interested please email us and we will invite you for a trial.
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 4 per week

Key responsibilities include:
- Bringing excitement and energy to every session
- Maintaining a professional demeanour in encounters with children, parents, other coaches, and schools
- Attending all sessions on time
- Children's safety is a priority.
- Assisting with the proper setup and packaging of equipment, as well as ensuring that all equipment is safely stored
- Educating children's on applicable skills, progressions, and methodologies
- When required, communicate with parents on their children's growth.
- Make certain that all health and safety regulations are followed. Being aware of and adhering to all school policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow policies and procedures for child protection, health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Recognise and support diversity, and guarantee that all children's have equal access to chances to learn and grow.

Role will be given depending on the location (as we train at Furzedown, London, UK as well as within in the Wandsworth Area) + Experience. International candidates will not be acceptable unless they are local (can travel to the right location) and has the correct experience.
Introduction/background:

The Academy aims are, and objectives of the club are to:
- An exclusive training programme designed exclusively for young people that combines the vital aspects of football into an efficient program of technical, tactical, psychological, and physical development within an entertaining and educational environment.
- To give many individuals to allow each player to grow as a person and within the framework of the team while also challenging them to improve and learn continuously.
- To offer coaching and competitive opportunities in Football
- To promote the club within the local community and Football
- To provide development to children from disadvantaged and BAME backgrounds to develop through Football
- To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club
How and why we started:
We started this project with a few kids in a common playing Football to bring all background players and with different abilities to enjoy playing Football for Pure Football Academy.
We have been having 7-15 years old sessions for over 10 years now; we are hoping to introduce younger age groups, 3-6 for a start of a new long-term project which will bring football and sport to the younger generation and allow development to team sport in the future. Pure Football Academy will be affiliated with The London Football Association (FA) and the London County Saturday Youth Football League. We are a FA Charter Standard Club
Some information on what we do:
We run 3-6 age groups sessions, an organised, fun, and friendly session to help them progress onto the next stage.
We also do an open session for higher age groups to help players compete and enjoy playing Football with mixed abilities with others.
As we have helped them progress playing for Under 10’s, Under 12’s, Under 14’s and Under 16’s, we have been able to progress players; through our pathways onto semi-professional and pro clubs.
As our coaches qualified, we also do 1-1 sessions, ensuring players improve and focus in their own time with coaches.

Our one-on-one private football instruction is designed to focus on the areas each player needs to focus on and excel in today's game.
Pure Football Academy will assist you in improving your technique, flexibility, speed, agility, and power both with and without the ball. Players can opt to train regularly or for a one-time session in which we can develop a training programme for them.
We can offer private sessions with several of our coaches where players can benefit.
