Job Summary

The position may involve working irregular hours (e.g. Evenings/Saturdays/Sundays) so a flexible candidate is crucial.

 

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting directly to the Lead Recruitment Analyst this role will provide administrative assistance to the Recruitment and Analysis departments at Tottenham Hotspur.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide administrative assistance to both the First Team and Academy recruitment departments.
  • Support the Managing Director of Football, Technical Performance Director, Scouts and Analysts when required.
  • Organise scouting tickets on behalf of the scouts in a timely manner. Communicating with other clubs and updating the ISF scouting platform.
  • Assist the scouts with their travel plans when required and maintain communication with the club’s primary travel partner. Ensure the travel being booked falls within the club’s travel policy.
  • Raise purchase orders for Clarity (the clubs travel partner) to book travel and other expenses for the Scouts and other recruitment personnel. 
  • Maintaining regular communication with the scouts and other key recruitment personnel in the club.
  • Assist in the construction and management of the scouting schedules.
  • Assist in the management of the club’s scouting database.
  • Arrange and attend department and recruitment meetings when requested.
  • Ensure key information from the recruitment process is well documented.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Analysis department, which will Include: being the key link between Finance and the Analysis departments ensuring purchase orders are raised and payments are made in a timely fashion, supporting in the recruitment of new personnel and weekly operations assistance e.g kit orders and management, travel assistance, arranging accreditation, managing timesheets for casual workers.
  • Any ad hoc duties as requested by management.

Skills & Experience

 

  • Previous experience of working within a professional football environment.
  • Strong work ethic and passion for the job. The ability to work in a team environment and work under pressure.
  • IT literate with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines when requested.
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant scouting and analysis software such as ISF Scout7 and Hudl.
  • Knowledge of computer productivity programmes such as Tableau, Excel, Numbers and Keynote.
  • Ability to speak a second language is desirable.
