Job Description

JOB TITLE: Academy Development Centre Coach
REPORTING TO: Development Centre Coordinators
JOB FUNCTION: Ensure the development centre coaching programme is delivered effectively, to help recruit the best talents in London and South East at U8’s for Chelsea Football Club.
LOCATION: Bracknell
CONTRACT: Casual, 1 session per week 
•       Coach at a local U6-U8 Academy Development Centre.
•       Attend all in-service training.
•       Demonstrate individual personality and style as a coach, working within the clubs framework and approach.. 
•       Minimum FA Level 3 (UEFA B) Football Qualification (we may at times look for assistant coaches with an FA Level 2 qualification).
•       Valid First Aid & Safeguarding Children’s Certificates.
•       Working towards FA Youth Module 3/Advanced Youth Award.
•       To be qualified in Emergency Aid/First Aid at Work.
•       Enrol as a member of the FA Licensed coaches club.
•       Knowledge of current methods in coaching.
•       Evidence of the ability to plan coaching sessions.
•       Experience of coaching players from the Under 6 to Under 8 groups.
•       Availability during any (or all) of the following times: Evenings, Weekends and School Holidays.
The Employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to Chelsea FC Foundation policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company’s premises.  The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
