This is a paid, part-time position that is based on events within Atlanta United’s Marketing & Fan Engagement Department where the team will be tasked with uniting and empowering people to create extraordinary memories for guests they encounter. During the MLS season, the Street Team will energize the crowd and help enhance the fan experience. The Street Team also serves as brand ambassadors for many events around Atlanta, including festivals, races, sponsor/partner events, and more. It’s about each member bringing their energy, skills, experiences, and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving consumer demographic.  Atlanta United is looking for those that can harness the passion in supporters and fanatics who can also support both in engagement as well as during brand events in and or around the Atlanta area.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Create a fun, loud, and positive atmosphere during all Atlanta United events by interacting with fans, distributing giveaways, and encouraging fans to support Atlanta United
  • Promote Atlanta United at various events throughout the year, including fairs, festivals, sporting events, parades, and more
  • Interact with avid, casual, and new fans and the city of Atlanta to educate/inform the community of important Atlanta United messages (specific promotions, ticket updates/offers, team information, etc.)
  • On-site support for execution of community and grassroots activations
  • Responsible for setup and breakdown of events
  • Responsible for loading and unloading items at the storage unit including transferring items to and from event site
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of the storage unit, inventory, and promotional items
  • Responsible for data cultivation through online entries
  • Represent the brand to the highest standards at all time
  • Various office tasks as assigned
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
 
Required Skills
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Knowledge of the MLS, specifically Atlanta United FC
  • Experience with event/game promotions preferred
  • Punctual, professional and mature demeanor is a must
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to work 75% of Atlanta United’s event schedule: length of events 8 to 10 hours
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
