BACKGROUND

TransferRoom launched in 2017 and is today a sustainable, fast growing B2B SAAS business, navigating the exciting challenges of the scale up phase. Our mission is to empower every football club in every league in the world to be successful in the transfer market. We do this by giving our customers instant access to the best market information and a second-to-none network of global connections. We are looking for a smart and proactive product analyst to join our growing team.

THE ROLE 

We are looking for a product analyst to work closely with our customer success and product teams, driving the use of data and analytics to ensure our customers have the best possible experience using the platform. You will take ownership for user activity and product analysis within the data team, working with large datasets to develop and share a deep understanding of user behaviour and customer journeys, and collaborating with other teams in the business to drive growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of football and the business of football, as well as well developed analytical and statistical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing a thorough understanding of our business model and key growth metrics
  • Analysing customer data and developing a deep understanding of user journeys and their usage of our products
  • Creating and tracking key customer health metrics, ultimately helping to drive user and usage growth.
  • Set targets and evaluate new feature performance
  • Work closely with the product team to define and analyse the product.
  • Proactively finding opportunities to improve the product, working closely with the product owner and other data team members to develop solutions
  • Working with other members of the data and analytics team to ensure tools, models etc are understood and utilised in other teams
  • Spotting trends in user activity and presenting data across various levels of the business

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, analysing user data, understanding customer journeys and making product recommendations
  • Proficient with SQL - with experience in a business environment
  • Experience of product analytics within a SaaS business desirable
  • Have the ability to analyse data objectively to gain deep insight and make recommendations
  • Passionate about product development and understanding customer journeys
  • Proactive by nature; look to develop a deep understanding of the business and seek improvements and solutions
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work to challenging deadlines and ability to work independently
  • Excellent numeric communication skills
  • A motivated professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who values teamwork, agility and a solution led approach
  • A strong customer-focus, passionate about making a difference to football teams’ recruitment processes.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. PowerBI a bonus.
  • Experience with Python / R a bonus.
