About the opportunity: We have an exciting and rewarding role within our People, Culture and Workplace Wellbeing department for a HR Assistant to join us and be apart of our journey in offering a first class service across the Everton Family.

 

Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and as a HR Assistant you will act as a first point of contact for all HR related queries, creating and demonstrating a culture that is recognised widely of People Support being the heart of the Club for all its colleagues and workers.

 

Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include:

 

  • Being the main point of contact for all enquiries to the people department, including cover for the department telephones as well as responding to all email enquiries to the group inboxes
  • Providing a basic level of advice and guidance to managers, employees and casual workers across the business in relation to Club policy, procedure and employment law
  • Responsibility for general correspondence tasks, including mail merge documentation to staff groups, responses to speculative CVs, reference requests, completion of monthly National Statistics feedback forms etc
  • Responsibility for drafting and distribution of change in terms and conditions letters e.g., salary increase, change in working pattern, promotion etc
  • Provide administrative support (letters, minutes, information packs, arranging meetings) to the HR team for Employee Relations cases, including grievance, performance management and disciplinary cases

 

Who we are looking for; We are looking for an experienced HR administrator with previous experience in a fast paced role, ideally in a similar environment with a real interest it what we do for people.

This position is on a Permanent Contract and will be contracted to work 35 hours per week.
