The quality of our product in Italy is the best in the world; from the calibre of our editorial, our streaming efforts with Serie A and the Italian clubs, our user growth and the number of users makes Italy a major expansion market for our business. With Juventus as a shareholder we are poised to continue growing our efforts to bring the best football product to the Italian marketplace and we have strong growth plans for Italy.

We are looking to hire an Italian sales director who will build up an Italian sales team. Ideally the candidate will be based in Milan with deep relationships to the Italian media industry, clients and advertising agencies. A knowledge of sports marketing and sponsorship would be helpful; as well as knowledge of football trends and digital media. This is a business development position; developing a market, and - a team. The candidate will develop Italy into a key revenue pillar for OneFootball.

The role will form part of our senior sales management team. The candidate will hit the ground running and have to deliver results quickly. We are looking for someone with the most senior level relationships with marketing leaders across Italy; and ideally someone with a knowledge of the Italian sports market.

We are interested in applicants who know Italian multi-market international clients.


  • Hire and build an Italian sales team
  • Develop and manage a team to meet organisational and strategic goals
  • Develop an Italian sales strategy
  • Leverage our highlights and match rights for sales
  • Leverage our club relationships for sales growth
  • Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
  • Leverage your contacts in the sport, sport sponsorship and media business
  • Cultivating solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
  • Negotiate large advertising contracts with the biggest italian and french international brands
  • Identify appropriate industry events to attend
  • Entertain and host strategically important clients at relevant events


  • 7+ years working in Italy media sales (agency, advertiser or publisher)
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of the Italian media industry and programmatic advertising
  • Proven track record in selling digital products in a fast-paced international environment
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passionate team player
  • Native Italian speaker with excellent verbal and written skills in English
