Job Description

Position Summary 
The Digital Media and Communications Manager will report to the Director of Marketing & Branding and will be responsible for marketing of CISC programming and events, website assets and content, executing and monitoring social media, generating ideas/concepts/copy for content tied to club programming, producing newsletters and helping with partner/sponsor marketing execution. The goal is to capture and promote the values and culture of the CISC brand through engagements, storytelling and imagery.
 
This will be a dynamic and collaborative role to help support the staff, members and community of the CISC brand while looking ahead at emerging trends and industry leading practices.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Markets and programs content in support of CISC culture, programming and events.
  • Maintain digital media channels including website.
  • Physically attends key programs and events, which may include weekends, in support of programming.
  • Communicates and coordinates with the Member Services, Operations and Technical Staff to produce content aligned with club culture.
  • Capture and curate media content through use of technology, engagements, interviewing and writing; source and engage with external sources such as leagues.
  • Engage with community, staff and club members to build relationships with the brand.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
 
Skills and Capabilities
  • Preferred experience working in a related field for a sports property, entertainment property, ad agency, publisher or related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills along with a history of posting/publishing stories/content.
  • Familiarity with social media tools, management, planning, monitoring and content distribution methods (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, Hootsuite, Linktree, etc).
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects and deadlines with the ability to meet changes and sudden interruptions with a can-do attitude.
  • Must be a collaborative team member willing to provide support when and where needed.
  • Fulltime; salaried position.
  • Typical office hours are 9am – 4pm, but it is expected that this individual will put in extra hours during peak times and when necessary to fulfill job functions
  • In order to fulfill the responsibilities outlined, this individual will spend time on the fields at training, games, and events
  • Must have ability to work some weeknights and weekends for youth soccer games and other hosted events
 
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Understanding of/or participation in youth soccer or similar sports preferred.
  • Graphic design skills a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
