Job Description

Main goal

The role of the Host Relations Assistant will be to support the managers within the host relations and event experience unit. The Host Relations Assistant will perform administrative and organisational tasks to help with the planning and delivery of projects.

 

Key responsibilities

- Supporting the host relations and event experience unit in the planning and delivery of the Women’s EURO

- Helping the unit liaise with host cities and authorities to support them in the implementation of all projects delivered outside stadiums, namely host city promotion, smart mobility, event experience and communications for multiple competitions and tournaments (club finals, EURO, etc.)

- Assisting the unit in the review of hosting requirements and bid evaluations for the operations division for the EURO, Women’s EURO and other competitions

- Supporting the unit and project managers with their daily operations and tasks

- Supporting the coordination and organisation of meetings, site visits, workshops and information sessions with internal and external participants

- Preparing templates and support documentation for on-site visits and meetings

- Creating, updating and maintaining reports

- Producing presentations, statistics and documents for the unit

 

Profile Experience required:

- from 1 to 3 years / Experience in a similar role

- from 1 to 3 years / Experience working in an international organisation

Education:

- Bachelor's In business administration, sports management, communication or another relevant field

Languages:

- English / Proficient

Additional requirements:

- MS Excel / Advanced

- MS Outlook / Advanced

- MS PowerPoint / Advanced

- MS Word / Advanced 

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and international environment 

- Organised and with excellent attention to detail 

- Proficiency in other European languages would be an asset 

- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

- Team spirit
