Job Description

Main goal

The role of the Venue Management Coordinator is to support the venue management team within the host relations and event experience unit in the planning and implementation of Women’s EURO venue operations, the management of bidding processes and the implementation of EURO 2024 venue management-specific projects.


Key responsibilities

- Supporting the venue management team in the implementation of venue management projects and processes across competitions

- Acting as a key source of information for all internal stakeholders and responding to enquiries regarding requirements for both the men’s and women’s EURO

- Gathering information from internal stakeholders in order to produce documentation and manuals for on-site operations

- Assisting the venue management team with the planning, implementation, logistics and follow-up reports for working and dedicated visits to all Women’s EURO 2022 and 2025 venues in cooperation with internal stakeholders and the local organising committees (LOCs)/venues

- Keeping track of overlay changes, updating checklists and reports, and liaising with the maps and plans team for regular updates of the venue maps (Women’s EURO-specific)

- Assisting the venue management team in organising meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders, drawing up agendas/minutes, preparing presentations and making travel arrangements

- Supporting the development of an event readiness programme to better prepare future UEFA on-site staff at venues by:

• Collecting information from internal stakeholders and putting together standard operating procedures and operational manuals

• Helping to organise and providing content for tabletop exercises and venue simulations

• Supporting the development/upgrading of venue management tools and procedures

• Providing administrative support to the preparation of the bidding documents for Women’s EURO 2025, EURO 2028 and EURO 2032



Experience required:

- from 1 to 3 years / experience in an administrative role in an international and multicultural environment

- from 1 to 3 years / experience in event operations for major sports or international events Education:

- Bachelor's business administration or sports management



- English / Proficient

- French / Intermediate

- Travel is required (up to 20%) with possible deployment to one of the tournament countries
