RSL has an exciting opportunity in its Team Administration operations. In this position you would be responsible for the following:
Assist the Head Academy Team Administrator with coordinating logistics for all RSL Academy domestic and international matches, including but not limited to: hotels, charter flights, ground transportation, training facilities, rental cars, meals, trip itineraries, etc.
Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for RSL Academy in conjunction with facilities, grounds crew, Real Foods, department heads, coaching staff, and the other team administrators
Communicate schedule to respective parties daily, weekly, and monthly as necessary
Travel to all RSL Academy trips throughout the season
Submit receipts to RSLTA accounting department in a timely manner
Coordinate relocation into market for all new Academy players in conjunction with the Head Academy Team Administrator
Manage new player onboarding paperwork via MLS workday system
Conduct all game-day responsibilities as necessary, including but not limited to: DMR (official gameday lineup sheets), pre-match coordination meeting, etc
Work with RSL Academy staff, Academy Director and the RSL Academy High School to ensure players are fulfilling their academic responsibilities in market and while the team is on the road
Act as the liaison between students, their parents, and any facet of the Club they may have questions for/need to work with
Arrange laundering of all academy teams
Coordinate scheduling with academy players to ensure laundry duties are completed
Complete some portions of laundry yourself
Inventory uniforms each post season to donate to RSL affiliates
Print match and training kits for academy players as necessary
Ensure balls, all field equipment, and areas of use (cages/sheds/etc.) are prepared daily, and put away/closed when training is finished
Successful incumbents for this position will have the following qualifications:
Sports administration experience preferred
Spanish bi-lingual preferred, but not required.
General knowledge of MLS policies and procedures.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed to accomplish team goals.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Must be able to successfully pass background check and become Safe Sport certified.
