Job Description

Based primarily at the King Power Stadium and supporting the Club’s Belvoir Drive Training Ground when required, our Maintenance Electrician will support the Facilities team in delivering high quality electrical maintenance services in line with the Club’s standards and policies, and environmental and certifying authorities’ compliance and best practice regulations.

About The Role

Based primarily at the King Power Stadium and supporting the Club’s Belvoir Drive Training Ground when required, our Maintenance Electrician will support the Facilities team in delivering high quality electrical maintenance services in line with the Club’s standards and policies, and environmental and certifying authorities’ compliance and best practice regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a trade background with NVQ Level 3 qualification and C&G technical certificate in Electrical Technology (2356/2330 etc). In addition, they will have a minimum of 5 years’ commercial or industrial electrical installation and/or maintenance experience, with a high degree of skill in fault-finding when under pressure.

They will have an analytical approach to work, the ability to work both individually and collaboratively, and have an organised, calm, and adaptable nature to be able to deal with a variety of situations or tasks. They will be comfortable in dealing with difficult situations whilst always maintaining a professional and caring attitude.

Reporting into the Facilities Supervisor, responsibilities would include a wide range of electrical maintenance tasks, including but not limited to lighting maintenance and upgrades, fixed wiring remedial actions, small electrical installation work such as room renovations and improvements, and routine planned preventative maintenance such as regular emergency lighting inspections

The site is operational 365 days a year and the role requires the successful candidate to work on a rota basis, working flexibly 5 over 7 days. The role will also require the successful candidate to be on the emergency call out rota to respond to out of hours emergencies.  The Club has a number of sites, and you may be required to work at other sites as and when required, although this is rare.
