About the opportunity: We are extremely excited to be searching for a Senior Lead – Retail, Brand Licensing & International Growth to come and join us as we embark on a significant chapter within the history of Everton Football Club. 


As Senior Lead you will have the opportunity to showcase your strategic commercial and marketing acumen by leading on the Clubs revenue generating activities across retail, brand licensing and internationally focused projects.,  


A key focus for the role will be harnessing the commercial value and reach of the Everton brand, an engaged and expanding fanbase and our position within the most watched sports league in the world to deliver growth across key touchpoints. 


You will work collaboratively with our retail partner to expand the reach and scope of our retail footprint as well as exploring and executing upon ever-increasing opportunities to create revenue driving initiatives by harnessing the value of the Everton brand and IP. This will include delivering exciting physical and digital projects to increase the Everton product offering across multiple platforms.  


You will be playing a pivotal role in activating and commercialising our Everton brand internationally, most notably through leading a team focused on increasing the global expansion of our international affiliate club and soccer camp model.   


Not only will you get to be a part of something special, but you will be responsible for driving forward these key pillars, whilst sourcing, selecting, strategizing upon and executing all avenues of potential revenue relating to use of our IP.

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for a talented, commercially focussed, marketing professional who is hardworking and strategy / target driven. 


What‘s essential is experience of planning, developing and implementing revenue generating marketing plans (B2B and B2C) with demonstrable success in surpassing revenue goals within a growth focused organisation.  


You’ll have proven experience of successfully leading a team to deliver multiple and be a confident with strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position is a permanent opportunity, working 35 hours per week with the closing date for this role being Friday 21st January 2022 


This role is based at the famous Royal Liver Building with the opportunity to work flexibly with our Hybrid working approach.
